What is Contour Light Body Sculpting Therapy?

Contour Light Body Sculpting Therapy is a supporting method for weight loss and targets places on the body where fat is resistant to shedding. Also known as lipo laser. It works by shining concentrated 635nm and 880nm of LED light directly onto a patient's skin causing extra fat cells (adipose) in the body to gather together, travel through the lymphatic system, and exit the body through waste.

Contour Light is  officially FDA cleared!

Finalized on May 19, 2021, the Contour Light is cleared for reducing the circumference of your waist, hips and thighs, along with for providing temporary relief for joint pain, arthritis, muscle pain and spasms by promoting muscle relaxation and improving blood circulation.

Patients in a clinical study lost an average of 2.49 inches per session.

The FDA # is K202955. You can find the clinical study is registered with clinicaltrials.gov under #NCT 04451824.

What Does the Procedure Look Like?

Your first appointment for Contour Light Body Sculpting Therapy at Optimal Family Chiropractic and Weight Loss starts with a one-on-one consultation with Dr. Brenda L. Rooney, D.C. She will evaluate your health to determine whether Contour Light Body Sculpting Therapy is right for you, answer your questions about the therapy, capture pre-procedure photos (upon your approval) for your patient records, and suggest a treatment schedule based on your body type and health.

For the procedure, Dr. Rooney will place up to 6 LED pads on the place where you desire fat loss the most. You will see small bursts of light under these pads during your treatment session. Contour Light Body Sculpting Therapy is completely painless, natural, and non-invasive. It requires no anesthetics, no surgery, no recovery time, and the only sensations you might feel is warmth from the light!

Treatment schedules for Contour Light Body Sculpting Therapy usually require at least 10-12 sessions for optimal results, and should never replace a balanced diet and regular exercise.

Are there Side Effects or Risks to Contour Light Body Sculpting Therapy?

While very little adverse side effects are reported from Contour Light Body Sculpting Therapy, some patients have experienced redness on the skin, swelling, heat sensitivity, pain, increase bowel movements and increased urination, though these side effects are extremely rare.

If you are pregnant or have cancer, heart disease, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C or D or a Pacemaker (Need Physician Approval), you should not undergo this type of therapy.

What are the Benefits of Contour Light Body Sculpting Therapy?
