Doctor Brenda Rooney and the Staff of Optimal Family Chriopractic
Doctor Rooney
Dr. Brenda Rooney has been a chiropractic patient since she was diagnosed with scoliosis as a teenager.
"I was encouraged to attend chiropractic school by my own chiropractor. I was impressed by anatomy and how chiropractic can help the body heal itself naturally." said Rooney.
Dr. Rooney has always been involved in athletics, including equestrian riding and competitive bodybuilding.
She cares for all areas of chiropractic, including pregnancy, care of children for ear infections and childhood allergies, sports injuries, scoliosis, all types of headaches, and pain in the neck and back area. Chiropractic treatments do not include surgery or medications, which means you will be offered alternatives which are non-invasive, hands-on and effective. X-ray, physical modalities and rehabilitation are all on premises.
Dr. Rooney attended County College of Morris in New Jersey to receive her Associate of Science in May 1997. She attended the University of Bridgeport where she obtained her Bachelor of Elective Studies in 1998 and then received her Doctorate of Chiropractic in May 2001 from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic.
She keeps up with continuing education by taking courses in Motor Vehicle Collision, insurance changes, seminars and workshops on chiropractic care.
Dr. Rooney is a member of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors (ANJC), American Chiropractic Association (ACA), Kiwanis Club of Mount Olive and the Mount Olive Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Rooney has a passion for healing her patients. She encourages them to be participants in their healing process and educates them in Wellness programs through chiropractic care.
