Chiropractic Conditions

The purpose of Chiropractic care is to help restore the normal functioning of the nervous system so the body can heal itself, when possible - without the use of drugs or surgery.

Sciatica / Leg Pain

Inflammation of the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve runs from the lower back through the hip and down the leg into the foot.

Fibromyalgia

Muscle and connective tissue pain accompanied by presence of chronic widespread pain with heightened and painful response to gentle touch.

Carpal Tunnel

Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is an injury caused by a pinched nerve in the wrist. The injury causes pain and numbness in the index and middle fingers and weakness of the thumb.

Osteoporosis

A natural aging disease that causes a decrease in bone density, this means that the bones become weaker and may fracture easily. Osteoporosis can cause the vertebrae of the spine to collapse which results in decreased height and increased curvatures called “ kyphosis”.

Tension Headaches

Tension Headaches can be felt on both sides of the head as a dull, steady pain that often becomes intense at the end of the day. Spinal manipulation can significantly decrease headache frequency, total headache pain, and over-the-counter medication use, while increasing ability to function.

Migraine Headaches

Nerves from the upper spine can be irritated by poor joint movement in the neck. Chiropractic treatment will bring relief for many patients needlessly suffering from migraine headaches.

Cluster Headaches

Cluster headaches affect one side of the head (unilateral) and may be associated with tearing of the eyes and nasal congestion. They occur in clusters, happening repeatedly every day at the same time for several weeks and then remitting. Chiropractic's safe, gentle methods have helped millions of headache sufferers by freeing subluxations. Your body can then work more efficiently to use its natural energies to heal itself.

Whiplash Torticollis

Torticollis is caused by spasm of the neck muscles which causes rotation and tilting of the head. Chiropractic care works on correcting underlying causes and relieving symptoms associated with torticollis.

Bursitis, Osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis, also known as degenerative joint disease, is the most common arthritic disease. Degenerative joint disease occurs in the joints of the body when cartilage is damaged or lost and bones begin to undergo abnormal changes. With early detection, appropriate chiropractic care has been shown to slow or stop the early stages of this process.

Ear Infection

When cervical(neck) vertebrae become misaligned, disrupting nerve function, it can affect the eustachian tube. This may lead to fluid buildup in the middle ear and cause otitis media(ear infection).

Asthma

Spinal misalignments cause many health problems because vertebrae pinch important nerves and restrict their effectiveness. Chiropractic care can improve symptoms and lower cortisol levels in many asthmatic patients.

Temporomandibular Joint Disorder(TMJ and/or TMD)

Connects your jaw to your head. Ligaments, cartilage, fascia, an articular disc, muscles, nerves and blood vessels run in, around, and through the TMJ. TMJ dysfunction or syndrome occurs when the joint is misaligned or malfunctioning in some way that subjects it to excess pressure.

Low Back Pain

Low back pain generally is a mechanical disorder that needs suitable treatment. Chiropractic manipulation can relieve most low back pain discomforts.
